This year’s Annual Housing Visionary Awards Gala will be June 20, 2023. It’s THE housing social event of the year, bringing together hundreds of housers from across the country for an evening of celebration, recognition, and networking. We are back at The Anthem again and hope to see you there! The Gala is a great way to celebrate and support NHC’s work and recognize our three amazing honorees.
This year, we are recognizing some of our most dedicated colleagues who are making a difference: Lisa Rice, President and CEO of the National Fair Housing Alliance and Susan Dewey, CEO of Virginia Housing with the Housing Visionary Award, and Doug Bibby with the Carl A.S. Coan, Sr., Lifetime Achievement Award for Public Service. Lisa, Susan, and Doug are distinguished leaders in housing and community development whose work has helped move our nation toward NHC’s goal of quality, affordable housing for all.
Our Gala kicks off at 5:30 pm with a reception to connect with fellow housers. Last year, HUD Secretary Marcia Fudge, as well as most of her senior staff, representatives from housing regulators, and the White House joined us at the reception. Following the program, additional opportunities to network exist at our Dessert Reception. To show your support for the Gala, consider becoming a sponsor to further the work of ensuring everyone is able to live in a quality, affordable home in a thriving community. Here is a sample of the sponsorships available:
- Advocate ($15,000) – includes a Gala table with preferred seating, a full-page ad and listing in the Gala tribute book, promotion in printed and electronic marketing materials, and acknowledgment in the opening and closing media presentations.
- Champion ($10,000) – includes a Gala table with preferred seating, a half-page ad and listing in the Gala tribute book, and a range of promotional opportunities.
- Opportunity Builder ($5,000) – includes five Gala tickets and a quarter-page ad in the Gala tribute book.
- Friend ($3,500) – includes two Gala tickets and a quarter-page ad in the Gala tribute book.
For those who cannot attend the Gala this year, or do not need additional tickets, you can place an ad in in the Gala tribute book, which presents a great opportunity to show your support or recognize this year’s honorees. Tribute ads start at $750 for a quarter-page and range up to $2,500 for a full page. You can also show your support by listing your name for $250. More information on these opportunities can be found here.
I hope you will join us in honoring these truly visionary housing leaders on June 20 at The Anthem. Please visit our website at www.nhc.org/gala or contact NHC’s Chief Operating Officer, Amanda Mitchell, at amitchell@nhc.org for more information.
