Don’t miss NHC’s Solutions for Housing Communications convening
In less than four weeks, housing communicators from across the country will gather in Washington, D.C. for NHC’s Solutions for Housing Communications to align messaging, amplify impact, and help shape housing policy debates unfolding in the nation’s capital and beyond. As a growing shortage of affordable homes continues to strain families and communities nationwide, the need for clear, compelling housing narratives has never been greater.
Taking place April 8 at the National Press Club, this one-of-a-kind event is the only national convening dedicated to housing communications. The full-day program will bring together housing experts, thought leaders, policymakers, and journalists to explore proven and emerging strategies for strengthening housing narratives and increasing public understanding of the importance of affordable housing in communities nationwide.
Panel discussions will spotlight strategies for clearly communicating complex and technical housing issues, working effectively with housing reporters, and understanding how technology and AI are reshaping public discourse. Sessions will also highlight the power of intergenerational storytelling, best practices for communicating before, during, and after natural disasters, and practical tools to help participants engage confidently across media platforms. Featured panels and experts include:
