Brittany Webb

Director of Research

Biography:

Brittany Webb joined NHC as a senior policy and research associate in March 2021 and then promoted to Director of Research in January 2023. Brittany is responsible for representing NHC on public policy issues, as well as researching and communicating current policy topics on affordable housing. She also coordinates NHC events in order to effectively engage coalitions, administration officials and congressional staff with developments in housing policy.

Prior to working with NHC, Brittany worked at an affordable housing management and development company. She began her career as a Leasing Assistant at a Low-Income Housing Tax Credit site and worked her way up to a Project Manager role for the entire portfolio. While working in property management, Brittany helped manage daily operations for various housing programs including HUD, USDA-RD, LIHTC, and local programs. Throughout her seven-year tenure in affordable housing management, Brittany gained a wholistic view of affordable housing and its vitality to healthy communities.

Brittany holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Northeastern University, as well as a Master of Public Policy from American University with a focus on social policy and housing policy.
