WASHINGTON – Today, The National Housing Conference (NHC), welcomed Whitney Sarkodie to their team as the Marketing and Communications Associate.
Prior to NHC, Sarkodie worked in Marketing and Communications with Events DC. At Events DC, she worked on event promotions like National Cherry Blossom Festival, DC Jazz Fest, and many community-based events around the district. She brings a wide array of experience from working at multiple organizations like Giant and Thrive DC and has a passion for equitable justice in any sector. Sarkodie holds a bachelor’s degree from the American University and she currently working towards a Masters’ of Public Administration, with a focus in Nonprofit Management from American as well.
“I am so happy to join the NHC team,” said Sarkodie. “I am thrilled to join an organization that is dedicated to affordable housing and I am so excited to promote the initiatives led by NHC.”
