Innovation Exchange with Mayors – Sharing Solutions for Housing Affordability

On September 18, 2024, Mayors and CEOs for U.S. Housing Investment, the National League of Cities, the National Housing Conference, Kaiser Permanente, and Enterprise Community Partners convened bipartisan mayors, business leaders, lawmakers, thought leaders, and other stakeholders to discuss the importance of homeownership and issues impacting renters.

Speakers and panelists explored local challenges, shared best practices, and discussed innovative strategies for improving rental housing access and increasing homeownership opportunities.

Zeroed In: How Cities are Lowering Barriers to Homeownership

Higher interest rates are significantly increasing the cost of homeownership, making it unaffordable for many. This panel will examine how leaders from cities, businesses, non-profits, and the federal government are deploying housing trust funds and other innovative tools to open doors and get more of our neighbors into their own homes.
